Thief River Falls constructed a new $13 million arena, named the Ralph Engelstad Arena—Thief River Falls, thanks to a generous donation of $10 million by LHS alumnus Ralph Engelstad and his wife Betty, This arena is located next and connected to the Huck Olson Memorial Civic Center, creating one of the premier hockey and civic complexes in the state of Minnesota.
